Hello,

what is the proper warmup routine for a bought agency account?

The account is aged and was running its last campaign in 2018 in Brazil. My goal is to run a campaign for a german ecommerce store (nothing blackhat related).

My plan for the warmup was following:

1. Setup a campaign for a Pizza restaurant in Sao Paulo (that was the target region for the last 2018 campaign in that account) - is it necessary to run the warmup campaign in portuguese language or can i also do it in english? (the final money campaign will be in german)
2. After around 1-2 Weeks i would add my "money" campaign for the german ecommerce (in german also, german geo) and start with s small budget
3. After 3 Weeks increase the budget for the german campaign and remove the portuguese campaign

Is it ok to do it this way or are there maybe ways that are more simple? (do i really have to run a portuguese campaign for warmup?)

Does it matter what keywords and headers etc. i use in the warmup campaign or can i just take googles recommendations and put anything there?

If the account was actively used in 2018 and wasn’t suspended until now, you don’t need to warm it up. I have plenty of accounts from 2019 and I can go ahead and create a high budget campaign without a problem.

3 weeks is too long time to warm up.
you can start from day #1 with a budget of $5-$10 a day and slowly grow daily budget from there
