Google map reviews not showing up / general google maps recommendations

Greetings,

Im a google maps business owner, and hired someone to post some reviews for me. Had about 25 reviews posted over 2 months. Recently some of these reviews have been removed. Id say 1 or 2 have dissapeared per week, maybe 10 reviews gone total. So I had a few long term customers post a review or two, from legit accounts based here in my home town, and these reviews didnt show up.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Is it a short term or long term issues? Any suggestions or input would be great. Was thinking to contact google, but dont want to draw any unneccessary attention to my account as its still active and working, but seems maybe lost some of its standing.

Are there any google reviewers that advertise on here that you would recommend for good reviews that stick?

Are there any companies or people that work with google maps listings to help raise business ranking that you have worked with that you can recommend?

Having the exact same issue for two of my businesses, reviews are coming from real customers. Unable to reach big G about it.

Interesting. HAve you ever paid for fake reviews and recently had some not stick, like I have?

Wondering if anyone has ever use white spark, surfer local, or other SEO companies to try and raise GMB ranking. Considering hiring one on, but not sure what they could offer other then reviews, etc

Reviews are not google main care.

So if they stick good luck.

I always advise getting users to use a link in the description area to review on a social page and connect that to the description as well.

its normal for paid reviews to drop. if you look at the bhw vendors selling google maps reviews, they all guarantee the reviews will stick for xyz amount of days. a portion of them are expected to fall off. however authentic reviews from your actual customers dropping is abnormal. could be they were low quality or google didn't like them for whatever reason.no sense in escalating to google. you'll be poking a bear and end up in trouble or get told they can't help you.
fwiw imo it's a numbers game. buy reviews > wait for them to drop > repeat

Yes, I defiantly had 2 or 3 legit reviews not show up at all. They were long term customers that I asked to review, they confirmed it, and it never showed it.
