Does a clipboard copy/paste leave a traceable footprint?

Guys,
If I copy / paste some text from my laptop to a file inside of my VirtualBox, or copy to social media accounts that I access via my VM, can it make my identity transparent somehow and it can be traced? (I use a VPN. inside of my VM).

where are you getting at? does google can trace it? does virtualbox can trace it? do any of these keep a track of this somewhere?

Op ask does it leave any footprint. The answer is yes. But I won't worry too much since to access it you need to control the hardware, basicly full control of the device.
In technical term when copy to clipboard that data is save temporarily in pc memory as cache, and those understand can check this out.
