A fellow BHW member is trying to send me ETH from Coinbase to my Metamask but is giving "invalid address".

I've read something like he needs to move the ETH to Binance.

Anyone can give us more insights on how to make this work, please, with an explanation? Thanks.

Hello, up. Does sender need to change their network or me? Please give more info @krishnaverma

Give that person your ETH erc20 receiving address of Metamask : It will start with "0x" and ensure that person selects the ETH network as erc20 while making the ETH transfer.

make sure the metamask adress you give is starting with 0x

It is starting with 0x. The sender is probably selecting other than erc20.

Are you sure you have entered the address correctly?
For example with my wallet if I copy and paste a address I usually need to convert it to checksum for the wallet to realise the address is correct
