Gaming laptops are perfect for almost any job because of their fast performance. The downside may be that they are usually heavier than regular laptops. If you don't mind carrying a heavy laptop then gaming laptops are great for work.

If I was told to choose between MSI and Acer, I would choose Acer. I have an acquaintance who uses an MSI laptop whose laptop hinge breaks quickly.
Another good laptop gaming is Lenovo Legion 5.

I would highly recommend MSI gaming laptops can handle pretty much anything when it comes to fast performance.
Or you can build your own gaming PC, buy parts on the Newegg site and set it up by watching a video tutorial on youtube.

On a Nitro 5 right now, It's been great, no issues and wasn't expensive.

Acer Nitro 5
Just bought one 1 week ago and is awesome

what's your budget? If you have $2k with you, then you could buy a Legion with RTX 3080 GPU. Which can handle everything for you ie. from SEO tools to video editing/ gaming, etc.,

what about HP Spectre, Dell Alienware?

Prefer Lenovo. More productive and stable

leovo thinkpad series.
reason cause i spill drink/coffe.soup and the laptop still work fine

If it's for work only,

Macbook Air (if you're on a budget)
Macbook Pro if you want a beast! :)

I am happy with Lenovo. I am a frugal guy. But my Lenovo is gaming laptop and I have been using it since 5-6 years ago.

Yeah you should be good with lenovo. Doesnt cost much and does its job. But you can also just use a vps...

Budget?
M1 pro/max macbook pros are on a discount these days. They are absolute monsters. Been using the max version, and will definitely recommend.

In order for anyone to make a good recommendation, you need to mention your budget and what you intend to use your laptop for (Gaming, Video Editing, Browsing, etc..??)

I personally use a Macbook Pro because:
  • It has awesome battery performance (I work outdoors a lot and every now and then forget my charger),
  • I do occasional video editing.
  • I prefer apple's MacOS over Windows in terms of productivity.
  • No windows based laptop comes close to Apple's magic trackpad. (I am not a fan of carrying a mouse around, and Apple's trackpad is beyond superior)
  • In love with Macbooks' durability and build quality.

Oh. Well, I am from tier 3 as well and I had to spend a fortune to get one. Could probably buy a low end car for that money, but trust me, these are absolutely worth it if you are a pro user.
