Am I getting screwed by Linkedin?

I have been running ads on Linkedin on a PPC basis but there is a problem between what Linkedin is saying and what my affiliate account is saying. LI is telling me that today I have 127 clicks on my affiliate link but my affiliate provider says that I only received 51. Linkedin seems to claim twice the amount of clicks I am recording in my affiliate account.

I've only started using Linkedin in the last 10 days so I was wondering if I am reading the situation wrong or if am I being ripped off by someone?

Are you sending the traffic directly to the affiliate? or are you sending it to your landing page first?

It's going directly to a landing page of the website that I'm an affiliate. I have a personal affiliate link that is part of the Linkedin ad and that is what people click on. Every time they click on the link it shows up as a "click" on my dashboard and if they sign up for a free trial it counts as a "sign up". I've run these ads om Microsoft ads before and never had this problem so that is where I am getting confused.

If that's the case, you can contact their customer support and explain the issue to them and see what they are going to say, as long as you are not promoting something against their T.O.S, otherwise, they will block your ad account.

Thanks, I'll do that.
