Gmail ads - are they worth it?

anyone with gmail ads experience? I’ve heard that the cpc is much lower opposed to the search ads.

are they worth it? Do they make sense? Can you get quality traffic via them?

In my experience, yes.

Just an assumption: The amount of people that do open it isnt that huge I believe. But still, some is better than none.

What is "gmail ads" ? Do you mean using "gmail" as keywords in the Google Ads campaign ? If not, you need to explain your concern clearly, in order to get effective responses.

By gmail ads i meant the google ads campaign focused on gmail inbox. Those are the ads that targeted person receives in his ‘promos’ column in his personal gmail inbox. I believe they are display ads/gmail.

I once clicked a gmail out of mistake and immediately I closed it lol
