Why do you sensor your competitor's domain while giving a way the site linking to them?

It won't be difficult figuring out your competitor and by extension your niche.

Those are image links, the sites linking to them used images from your competitor's site, they're basically hotlinking images from your competitor's site.

I blurred the competitor not to protect any niche but to protect his reputation. Many of my competitors seem to use the same technique.
When you go to the linked sites there is not much information, sometimes they are just blank pages.

It might be info-graphic links I think. There are some other way of link building like banner advertisements which they are using only image to put links there!

Wait a minute, you guys don't have this too?

I have these links to pretty much all my sites. 100% the same. The URLs all end in k, that is how I spot them.

I have 100s of these, I just thought they were spam links and everyone gets them, now I am confused.

These links are from scraper sites, who scrape content from ranking urls to build their content. They're not a method of ranking, they're a by-product of ranking.
