Just pick a good authority website in same niche. Be ready to pay good money for this.
That's not what I am asking, I am talking in terms of a link profile for a domain.
Imagine you were buying a domain name, what backlink would impress you enough to buy the domain?

It depends on niche. There cannot be one backlink or link from particular site suitable for all projects.
Are you trying to say that a backlinks from Google would not help all sites?

if you're talking about google redirects then those won't help ANY site. If you're talking about a different type of "google backlink" please explain, as I've not heard of this before

Apart from niche, focus on domain rating, referring domains, and traffic.

Getting links from authority site like both metrics and traffic are high and niche oriented sites are more valuable.

The most valuable backlink you can get is from a site that is popular and has a high PageRank.

I understand that, I am asking for real examples such as Google, Facebook, BBC, News Outlets
I am not talking about anything, It was an example of a site that if you received a backlink, it would help your site?

I think people are misreading what I have posted. I am not asking what makes a backlink 'good'. I am asking for examples of real websites where a backlink from that site would help any website in any niche. For example if you were to get a backlink from Google.com... I know it's nearly impossible but it's just an example.

in this case any authority website in your niche is a good backlink provider, and non-niche authority sites (Wikipedia, BBC, etc) are also good in general. If your site gets mentioned in a BBC article you can bet your ass that the backlink is godly, no matter if your site is about tennis rackets, puppy training, how to overcome jealousy, or aviation scholarships
I suppose that is the question that I am asking, but the backlink lottery.

Context: The reason I am asking this, is that I am developing a crawler that will be going through every sites I decide and look for dead links / expired domains. Just looking to see what types of backlink profiles hold the most value when it comes to reselling them in the future. I have started with old forums and found a few domain with OK backlink profiles with Wiki links etc. Listed one on GoDaddy auctions just to see what the result of it is.
