Hello I am an artist (european country) and have an Instagram account with 22k followers (most of them fake though). I know that the number of followers is not important.

But I have a Spotify and Youtube page and collaborations with 4-5 artists that all have a Instagram blue check and they are all relevant.

But I dont have any press releases ! How would I get some and they have to be from my country right?

I could link my Spotify so everyone can see I have 100k streams (real) thousands of monthly listeners and collaborations with well known artists in my country.

What do I need exactly to make sure my verification request will be succesful?

Even though you may be a European artist, I'd highly suggest you focus your efforts on obtaining press from North American or International news outlets. There are significantly more Meta Partners located in NA than there are in Europe and you'll end up having a much easier time being processed by a North American partner so long as your existing media coverage is in English.

As far as getting the press, most clients simply opt for buying it. However, if you're purchasing articles, you have to be sure that you are buying editorial placements as opposed to Press Releases or Sponsored posts. Any disclaimer that is indicative of you having paid for the article will only hurt your chances upon the official submission review. The articles must be published by either the staff writers or contributors of the respective publication.

Lastly, make sure that you are getting placements on high Domain Authority sites. We Rave You (92 - DA), Rolling Stones (92 - DA), XXL Mag (DA - 80) are all high-tier publications. Try to avoid any articles on sites with a DA below 40 as they will do little good for getting verified. Stay away from blacklisted news outlets (The Source, HipHopSince1987, ThisIs50) as Meta is already aware of their under-the-table dealings and will reject your application if they see them being cited.

Get PR from good quality news websites. No meaning it getting from ordinary sites or press releases. Also focus on the tone on the articles, it should not be full puffery and should look natural as much as possible.

Also get verified on Spotify which is relatively easy.

How many editorial placements ( articles ) are in average necessary to get approved by Instagram?

How many editorial placements (articles) did you make before you got approved by Instagram?
Usually you will need 9-10 articles on high DA websites.
Having the gkp is another thing that helps a lot, but there are other requirements too like minimum streams count etc.

Quality is more important than quantity. you can hire advertising agencies in the market to reach more reactions
