Thanking mods in alerts

When mods post an alert to us over some matter we requested that they have kindly sorted, it would be nice to know who the mod is, as mostly they are anonymous and have the ability to thank them enabled on alerts.
+1 it could be a post rather than just some text (internally i am not sure.. just speaking as an end user)..

I used to sign mine as MF and I know a few use initials or their name when handling reports.
Being able to give a thumbs up in appreciation does make sense, to the report notification.

Whenever a report gets handled, we generally want the community to see that the BHW team handled the report rather than (insert mod name here).

I used to sign off on reports as "Z", although I stopped doing this over the last year or so due to the aforementioned reason. Still, whilst I don't personally do it, the other moderators are still free to sign off on reports whenever they want to at their own discretion.
