BTC crashes to $15k!

You can always use privacy coins, or schemes like coinjoin or mixers to obfuscate your coins
Regular Joe won't do this, plus any mean that allow to remain anonymous will be forbidden. Best is to stay with cash and throw away digital currencies (or just keep them for trading/speculating) this is too dangerous for freedom.
But I'm afraid the fight is already lost since the EU is starting talking about a universal digital currency linked to your digital ID. We're f'ed anyway.

Anyway i still believe the use of digital currencies will ruin people's freedom. Every single purchase will be tracked even if you change your address it is still linked to you and govs can easily control what you spend on. Then next step is allowing or denying people from making purchases depending on their "compliance". Did you hear about social credit? In EU they are currently implementing this.

Anyway apart from these considerations, there is also the fact it's beginning to cost more to mine btc than the expected rewards, due to electricity Bill's. It's bound to fail. Sell now guys.
No offense, but you have everything backwards.
Fiat currencies allow everything to be tracked (except cash, but there is quite a "war on cash" growing). And it is. It's already happening right now. AML/KYC rules even put additional disclosures on top as soon as the amounts are a little bigger.

Crypto is the exact opposite.
Or you're talking of CBDC (central bank digital currencies) when talking of "digital currencies"? This is bad, that's true. But you "just" have to not accept it.

In crypto world, you can open as many "accounts" as you want, whenever you want, without providing any detail and without needing anybody's permission. No financial institution can say they don't want to open one, or close it later. There is no possibility to deny a transaction in crypto. That's the whole thing.

As for mining, the difficulty (and thus, cost) is proportional to the competition. If it isn't profitable, some people will stop their equipment. Competition will go down. Costs will get lower. Free market at its finest. The cost of mining BTC isn't "fixed".

If you are for freedom, you are FOR crypto. Now, start by studying a little the subject and use them, rather than believing things which seem to make little sense.

any mean that allow to remain anonymous will be forbidden.
That's why it has been designed so nobody is able to be stop it.
On one hand, you whine about what's happening on the government tracking frenzy. And you're right on this. On the other hand, you are denigrating the solutions. The day cash is replaced by CBDC, what will you do? Study crypto!

You need food more than currency. They are already pushing digital IDs in my area and will be mandatory by next year.

Let's forget the rest since we both have different opinions and it's useless debating about this endlessly. Though, tell me more about the sentence I am quoting above please. To my knowledge there is no exchange that allows a random guy to open an account without sending their personal documents. Even kucoin who tell you can open an account without kyc, at some point when you start making a bit of coins they lock your account and ask for docs. And no need to talk about metamask or decentralized exchanges that's the same or they are scams (anyway Dex will be forbidden soon as well in the EU, they are talking about this too). So how can you trade or buy crypto without giving away all your papers? I mean an easy and legit solution, no localbitcoin crap . Cheers

You talk like the random average joe that knows jack crap about crypto.

Dude, you are in blackhatworld and you can find ways to be STEALTHY.
No need to give your papers to anyone at all for any reason.

Read about mixers, coinjoin, privacy coins and how to block your crypto tracks.

There are exchanges where you can sign up with a random email, deposit coins, trade them, then withdraw WITHOUT ever giving your papers.

Don't use localbitcoins. Use sites like r/cash4cash or localmonero, or other marketplaces where you DON'T have to provide any documentation of any kind.

Need to create email accounts? Buy sim cards. They are cheap and well worth it.

There are sites that buy stuff for you by you paying them in crypto and they buy stuff with their fiat currency.

You need to learn this game before you can talk about crypto and privacy ;)

He didn't mean exchange. He meant account = a crypto address, which is from non custodial wallet so nobody knows about it.
Before having coins in your wallet you have to get those first bitcoins they don't magically appear in your ledger.

First keep respectful my friend.
Then, all you mentionned is far from mainstream, nobody will do all of this but some tech savvy nerds.
I am talking about the whole population, the whole planet, and I dont see the random joe doing all of this anytime soon.
Plus as I said, there are no (non scammy) exchange that will allow anyone to open an account without showing he's a good guy. If you like betting on random exchanges to be able to withdraw your money, good luck but it's not a long term viable solution.
Cash is king when privacy is involved, no matter what you can say.

First, sorry for not being respectful; kinda went with it :/

Yeah cash is king, but on the internet, crypto is king.

There are plenty of exchanges where you can register, deposit coins, trade them, then withdraw without asking you for papers.

You must not trust exchanges with your funds. Withdraw them to your own wallet/address.

That's why the average joe gets fcked; they don't do their homework and get recked - like recently with FTX; people trusted it with their coins and got fcked hard without lubricant.

Rise above; become better than the average joe.

Decentralized exchanges have no KYC at all whatsoever. And there is also absolutely no way a decentralized exchange to scam people, because if you use a decentralized exchange, you remain the owner of your crypto, the private keys of the crypto are your's. Ofcourse there are fools who reveal their private keys to scammers and the crypto gets stolen, but that is not the fault of the decentralized exchanges, it is the fault of some foolish crypto user.

No prob mate we can easily become passionate about a subject. Debating with you is still cool :)

I know crypto is a nice concept but only if it is managed by the right people. And honestly this is not the case with the people in charge currently, I think you know the world global situation no need for me to go into more details.

As soon as we'll have 100% digital currency we'll all be doomed.
No matter if it is btc or xyz, digital means no way to hide anything. Even if you use tricks to cover your ass as you explained (thanks for that btw) they will make it a crime to do so, guaranteed.

If digital currency replaces cash we won't be able to buy bread if we dont wear a mask for example. Digital currencies will be programmable and linked to your digital ID (aka behaviour in society) then freedom = finito
Cash is the last thing we have to remain free from their plans.

How do you proceed to get your first coins on a dex? Don't you need a mainstream coin first to be able to buy exotic coins on a dex (Legit question, no sarcasm) ? Thanks

And how do fiat currencies "magically appear" in your bank account, exactly?
There is what are opinions, and there is what is just wrong.

Exchanges are only bridges between fiat and cryto. It allows to convert one to the other and the opposite. You don't need exchanges. Just get paid in crypto, for whatever you want. Sell some goods or services and get paid. The exact same as fiat. What do you "buy" fiat with?

You are just rejecting the reality of things and believing some nonsense, I'm sorry. Like some other people, I suppose. In fact, you just WANT to believe some things which aren't correct (some are, though).

Metamask is a "scam"!? according to whom? You? To make it fit your distorted views? Metamask, as plenty of other wallets out there aren't scams. All the fiat system is a scam, if you want. That's far more true.

Of course some people "in charge" don't like crypto, would like to ban it, want to track everything and want to control you. That's the problem, we agree on that. And this is the problem crypto solves. They don't like it because they can't stop it and it makes them lose their control over you. That was the whole subject.

Just download a wallet already and be able to receive crypto. Then get used to how it works and please stop to think in your "bublle". There is nothing complicated in installing a wallet and creating addresses. It's just a few mouse clicks. Once you got some crypto, you will then be able to spend them. Or keep them safely and privately. Nobody asked you to "trade" (there are plenty of DEX if you want to, though). You are just continuously trying to bring "arguments" to reject an idea. For all the wrong reasons. Install Exodus for example, if you want. But there are plenty of other wallets out there. Or stay in your beliefs. Your choice. Cheers.

ill buy when it goes back down 1$

@M4DM4X You know, if you really want to exchange fiat for crypto or the opposite, you can do it with anyone willing to. That's what localbitcon and others are: Marketplaces to make people meet together. And they offer escrow in the middle so the transaction is secured for everybody. You can also transact with anybody with crypto. That's what it is about: The freedom to transact freely, securely and privately (yes!) with anyone.

As said, it is the solution to everything you are (rightly) complaining about. Yet, you are rejecting it. Just because you don't want to have a real look at it and understand it :/ Hopefully, this will change. I hope so.

Another stock market correction is expected soon
10k is a sweet spot
