Hi Guys,

I have Wordpress Site.

The Site is ranking nice on Google but i have to take the Content down and transfer the old Content on a New Domain.

I know i will loose all rankings and i cant do 301 because of law issues.

Can i just delete the Content the whole Domain and transfer the content on a brand new domain without duplice content Problem?

Or Should i wait in between?

Greetings

Why are you made to take the content down? Is it copyrighted content that you published without consent?

What law is stopping you from 301 redirecting?

You can use plugins such as duplicator or if its a big site get duplicator pro version.
If it is worth it hire someone, there are many who can do the transfer in few minutes.

Your hosting should be able to do this for free
The consequences are unknowable but you may try a redirect and see what happens

Im not allowed to keep the Content on the current domain, because i have to give back the domain.

But i can keep the Content. I just want to move the Content to new domain and give the old domain the owner back.

Should i wait till the Content deinxed?

Ok. I understand your situation.

So you have the rights to delete the content from the original website, right? Do you also have the right to implement the 301 redirect using a plugin? If yes then your job will be much easier. All you need to do is delete all the content from the original website and publish in a new domain and just install a plugin named 'Redirection' in the original website and apply 301 redirections to all the deleted posts.

This is the most desired way to do it.

However if you do not have the authority to install the Redirection plugin then there is a problem. In this case you just delete the posts from original website and republish them in your new website and wait to get the original website posts get de-indexed, which will be beyond your control. But you will not have any other option too.

You will not be penalized for duplicate content because Google has just stopped penalizing duplicate contents. It just ranks them lower in SERPs. So do not worry. Eventually when the original websites posts will get de-indexed, then your posts will climb up the rankings.

But make sure you actively keep sharing them on social media and keep building backlinks to them so that they will have a strong foundation when it comes to ranking them in place of original deleted articles.
