Campaign spending throttled, any idea?

Not sure wtf is going on with this one ad account, but I've heard rumors of other people having the same issue.

Meta says "our engineers are looking into this bug" and they never get back to you.

Basically, no target CPA set, large audience, lots of budget, no limits, no warnings or errors, etc.

Only 30-35% of the budget is being spent for the last 3 months. Client is understandably getting annoyed, as am I.

This happening on 2 campaigns in the same ad account.

Anyone else having this bug? Meta has been useless in diagnosing it

Are you running budget optimisation at a campaign level?

Had a similar problem, switched ads from campaign budget to individual ad set budget, now just manually alter the spends depending on performance. Got all ad sets now spending the limit.

Seems to only happen to <10% of ads, but the workaround seems to be working for me thus far. Little bit annoying having to go in and manually alter every week or so but other than that seems to get around the problem
