"Free speech" in Musk's mind = Me and other like-minded people should be able to speak what we want and nobody can critique us. And this only applies to him and his friends.

I wish to Elon all the shitshow and more that's unfolding in front of him, I liked him in the past when he started rising as a cool, down to earth and geeky entrepreneur. Few years back I realized that was all a show and he is a complete egocentric narcissist. Twitter was "Twittering" for 16 years and they still had tons of things that could be improved. Musk thinks he can buy a social network, fire 50-70% of the old workforce and magically make it better and profitable. I will be very surprised if he manages to improve a single thing in the following months.
