Do these browsers not leak any machine information? I know they spoof user agent but are they able to fully spoof the hardware data without any leaks?

Open to any suggestions, thanks
 
Nope, browsers cannot mask all the stuff, but can do it good enough.

Exaggerated example of this if you run "mac machine" form win. Here (https://browserleaks.com/canvas) you will be detected anyway as a win machine. And vice versa
So you need at least use mac emitation via mac and win emitation via win.
And there is a lot of points that can leak but whats more important - does it matter? For work with Facebook current popular anti-detect browsers work pretty good.

Anyway. Possible solution for you, if you seek great hardware+software print, might be to work from a real Mac device via separate users for different accounts.

If you use a good antidetect, then there should be no problems. But as the person above said, it's better to create profiles of the same OS on which the browser is running, because the OS can be detected by installed fonts and canvas prints if the services compare them with their database of user fingerprints. To work with advertising networks and social networks, the antidetect browser will definitely be the best option.

I would not say that using different OS profiles for multi-accounting is the best solution. This is not so convenient and does not add more security when working with accounts.

My issue is that isn't scalable for my needs, anti detect browsers gets around this hardware detection somehow?

There is a lot of other params, which are spoofed. Navigator(client hints, cpu arch, ram size, etc.), fonts, gpu, screen size, etc.

Why doesn't someone release an extension that spoofs these things? Is there an extra layer anti-detect browsers need in order to spoof the machine/OS details?

There are such extensions, but they will always work worse than a separate browser, because they change the fingerprint through javascript and not all things can be implemented qualitatively through it, and some things cannot be done at all.

I guess I'm still a little confused as to how this "noise" is created... it needs to spoof the machine side somehow and the only way I can think of is wrapping it in a VPS though I am far from knowledgeable on the subject. If it doesn't than however it's spoofed can be programmed in with an extension though I understand the extension then makes the fingerprint unique

As far as I know, iphey.com is the only one that gives you a clear yes-or-no answer. If you are looking for more in-depth analysis, you can use https://amiunique.org/fp. I didn't try all the anti-detect browsers out there, but in my experience, Multilogin is a notch above everything else.

Strictly speaking, there's a lot of ways a web service can track you. From the resolution of your browser, down to the font you use on your PC or mobile. Anti-detect browsers are not a fix-all solution but, when applied correctly, it covers a massive base against fingerprinting it's intended to cover. Using proxies along with anti-detect browsers is usually what I'd consider as baseline in preventing fingerprinting.
