Banks are into digital things but if they are into totally would be their loss thats why in cycles they ban crypto mate .

No. old currency will continue to exist. Just paytm will become more loss making.

decentralized digital currency would be ideal if utilized properly. I mean if it's actually used as a currency and not a traded commodity.

It is supported by blockchain and if I am not wrong, it makes India the first country in the world to adopt a blockchain based digital version of it's currency which is controlled by or under it's central bank.
