WordPress has an internal protocol for communicating with external apps like such, called XML-RPC. Jetpack makes use of it, but it doesn't make any sense to put Jetpack in the middle if you are planning to just connect straight with the app…
Initially, I thought you were doing edits via Jetpack's website (because maybe it looked better or something). But since you are connecting via app, you are simply duplicating and overloading something that is already built-in. If you cannot justify the use of jetpack for other things (like the image cdn caching or the shit statistic system they have), it doesn't make any sense to keep it up (and you shouldn't because that plugin is worse than a virus)
Ditch that Jetpack and connect straight to it!!
