If they generate money within a short period means they did competitive research and leverage their content over social networks, ads, and affiliate networks

The more leverage you do you can get leads so it's all about the Niche competition and SEO

May be he's promoting a good affiliate offer and a larger chunk of the traffic is coming to his affiliate content. When the commission is good you dont need much traffic to earn good money.

Yeah, he talked about having 5k monthly traffic but an affiliate offer that pays 50% commission.
