Do niche edit link insertions still work for your projects? Which link-building method is more effective for you guys?

I think guest blogging outreach business (Guest Posting) is more a good way for link building but in today's era videos and infographics submission are more effective way of link building.

1) guest posts (with over 1k words on a site over 50 DA)
2) forum/ blog comments (must be on highly relevant topic of discussion and content must be engaging)

basically must be useful to audiences and highly engaging contents. No longer just for the sick of getting backlinks, you must have a link that really bring traffic to your website. That's my 2022/2023 backlink goals

Guest post is the best. Because it is fresh content. Google safe.

The negative side of niche edit is Google might think your link was intentionally placed in an already existing page to manipulate the backlink. So its a no no for me.

Do you manage to convince website owners to let you publish the guest article for free or do you usually have to pay for it? In my topic area, I find little/no opportunities to make free guest posts. All website owners usually want over $1,000 to publish a guest article.
