First youtube short "blowing up"

Ive been reading all over the forum about youtube shorts, so i decided to actually start uploading them today.

I have an old youtube with some videos from years ago which i uploaded my first short on, atm its only been about 5-10 minutes and its already at over 130 views. I heard they updated the shorts algorithm and something like this isn't very common, should i just start mass uploading similar shorts to this channel?

Uploading is quick succession will not help, post after 30minutes at least.

Youtube usually stops recommending a short after 30-45 minutes for new channels

Should i schedule posts to go public every 1 hour instead of all at once?

Don't go that heavy

post 1 short per day and see what happens

boost to 2 post when you feel you should

spam is bad and ruins your channel at this stage

try to see if you can milk views with few shorts and when views stop or reduce a lot post new video

The one short didnt end up going as well as id hope but still good progress so far , so do you recommend still only going a few per day?

not yet, just getting views and subs

Yes, this is a good start. In my experience aged accounts tend to do a little better than new accounts. Make sure you upload videos daily and your channel will have the potential to go very viral. Try not to spam videos because that leads to shadow ban.
