Hello. Since some days I've been facing this problem because of google's new feature and was wondering how you guys deal with it.
Nowadays, when making a relevant change in google ads account, google can randomly ask to verify that's you to continue with the change. It's possible to skip it for some time, but later the verification will become mandatory, so I am looking for the solution.
What google asks for is whether to send a code to a phone number linked to the account, or, if there are some mobile devices connected to the account, to type a number or to press "yes" on the device.
The problem with the device is obvious, logging in with a mobile device on multiple accounts, which also require proxies, will harm the accounts.
The problem with receiving the sms is that the number dies within a couple of days, so I used to turn 2fa phone with a temporary paid number, turn 2fa on, get recovery codes and linking google authenticator app, and then forget about the number.
But with this update, even if there are recovery codes set and google authenticator app linked, it will ignore these and will ask for a code sent to a number, which is my problem.
It is possible to rent numbers, but, unlike getting one-time numbers, these are limited regarding countries and/or too expensive. I would like to avoid linking a phone number of a different country regarding account's country.
