its better to backlink or getting traffic ?
it's obviously better to get traffic than to get backlinks. We get backlinks so we can rank in google so that google can give us free traffic, but if you have the meanings to get the same amount and qualify of traffic (that converts, obviously, otherwise what's the point?) for the same amount of investment that you'd spend on backlinks then go for traffic 100% of the time! SEO is pretty tricky and takes time anyway, so if you can get traffic then that's much better than waiting for your SEO efforts to kick in

then it shouldn't be hard if you're the only one having that brand. But as far as I know, in order for google to show your brand into google, your brand needs to be at least slightly popular consistently among users. So, you'll want to make people, somehow, type your brand into google continuously for weeks (or months?) so that google can recognize that your brand means something to someone and thus, recommend it to even more people. And you can achieve this (brand recognition by google) with microworkers sites. But obviously that this will cost you money, so be ready to spend

you can create backlinks yourself if you know how (which is not hard, and all of the information can be found freely available on this forum anyway) if you have access to good sources of backlinks. But the thing is that good sources cost quite a bit, so keep that in mind! Although, there have been some good sources shared on BHW before, I myself have used some of those sources and was able to rank a small site in a slightly competitive niche about 1 year ago. But this only worked for some really low competition keywords, if you're targeting keywords with good search volume and you're in a tough niche those free links won't get you anywhere. But you can (and should) use them for diversity purposes, and probably use them for your content pages that target long tail keywords. It might just work for those...
