How can I design a blog?

Hi guys,
Recently I started a website. The website is about FINANCE. The website is on Astra theme. I did manage to set up a header and footer. But I am confused as heck about how I should design my website. For example, other websites in my niche have really good-looking websites. But I can't seem to create an appealing design.

Any thoughts?

Dont design your site.
Copy designs from big names. Use header from A and layout from B, etc etc. And simply get it started.
Till you have "copied" and compared enough sites, are you able to design your own and truly know what you want.

Or hire a designer.

i second what 4440 said. if you dont know how to style with css, this ain't the right place to get lessons. you should be using google to learn css
