Definitely don't be a jackass like some other commenters have suggested and punt it off on a pre-existing website/business. $2,500 spare is more than enough to launch your own business, and you don't have to worry about dishonest sellers on sites like Flippa inflating analytics/revenue and swindling you out of your hard earned cash (which is a common thing).

Read up on a couple methods; I won't tell you where to look for that, see if any free guides here align with your current skills, and build a brand around that. If you're smart, you can honestly probably get away with doing this for half that and put the rest away for a rainy day.

True. A YouTube channel is hit and miss. A blog is much more sustainable. If he invests the money in good aged domain with traffic or website with traffic + decent articles it should be good ROI.

The only thing he really needs to learn is keyword research, and that's covered extensively on here, luckily.

Go ahead. Don't give much time to your brain to think coz it will end up being thinking.

Start a business in something you like (you will sepend days and night on this) ... AND, as 2-3 others have said above, where you have already some experience. Trading domains, crypto, guitars or wathever does require experience to buy/sell better than your buyer/seller, otherwise you make their profit.

Read read read here and elsewhere and make your own opinion, and challenge when you see somebody telling he made 150k in months starting from zero. And be very carefull on traffic numbers, followers, Alexa (...), as we all know it is very easy to fake (gosh, I was once in the first 1000 worldwide sites with in fact not even 50 real visits per day!). As others have said, it take efforts to make a sell.

Be in your customer shoes: would you buy this yourself ? what service/good does that offer to you?

Maybe you can find a good website on flipa who makes you 200$ or 300$ per month .Then i will try to grow that website by building more content ,build backlinks etc and try it to male it to produce 1k per month

To op, when you say Investing, I assume you're talking about putting up money into something where you don't have to spend time on it or have prior experience with, meaning you will have to hire others to do the work, or you're talking about financial assets: stocks, crypto ...etc , and i think for both options, you unfortunately don't have enough money.
I think the best you can do is using it as a startup money for a small business, and i suggest you go with something you know, don't know what you do for a living but you can start from there.

Well think that you will make 300$ each month without doing nothing anf a website who its already ranked and make some money you can scale it more easy that a newly website

don't go into anything thinking you're gonna invest your $2500 and make a profitable return, because it probably won't happen. focus on something that can be done for free or extremely low-cost, and after you have seen success and you're more familiar with it, then that's when you want to start injecting small amounts of money and testing results. it's a game of chess so be patient and make sure every move you make is your best move.

if the venture is too investment heavy and you're going in without proper experience, it's probably not a good idea. and if your product isn't good, don't even bother. focus on creating value in the most efficient way possible. once you create value, then you can scale that value.
