It runs off the human curiosity aspect of things. When people are given limited access to something, they tend to want it more. In this case, it's really easy for them to find out what he will look like by becoming a fan. Afterwards, most people don't really take the time to go ahead and remove themselves from the page.

I for one was curious enough to sneak a peak at the image.

This is an absolute great tool to use when giving away free crap on your squeeze pages or when you want to keep someone's interest. Take one of those quizzes for instance who say something like "You've completed the quiz, to receive your results fill in your details below" Nine times out of ten the person will go ahead and opt in just to see that they fail at Geography.

Everyone loves mr bean, theres ALOT of mr bean groups going up atm, like harry potter, they all have alot of fans. Its just something funny, and something people are curious about.
