When building a website????

Ok folks this is my first time paying to have a website built and was wondering do You have Your sales page content built before the graphics and design?

Or can I hire a designer to create the site and then when the wordsmith is done put it on my design?

Really preference.
Since either sides is capable of inspiring you to have more or less what you want to show on your site & showcase what you are "missing" aswell.

I always finish and upload the design first.

Not sure if it makes any difference, but it just scratches my brain.

Better to have the text first. When a designer draws based on the finished text, the result is usually much better, because. it is easier for him to understand and convey the desired emotion to the user.
