There used to be a very big market for starter sites on Flippa.
Basically, these are bare bones sites with copied and pasted "filler content."
The idea is that whoever buys the website (sometimes with domain, sometimes not) will eventually swap out the content.
These are people who are basically just looking for a "pre-built package" that they can customize later on.
As you can well imagine, given the low barrier to entry and easy recycling of content and themes of such sites, these are a dime a dozen.
In fact, the last time I looked for such starter sites on Flippa, I noticed that sites that eventually got sold were relisted several times before their purchase.
If you're looking to get into this space, you have to be clear about your ROI and factor in relisting expenses when determining potential profit.
This way, you have all the information you know so as to determine if this is worth doing or not.
There are also people who sell similar sites on other platforms.
Flippa is not the only game in town.
