Hi there,

So I've managed to find a reliable SMM panel that I can rank with everytime if I pump it with a few thousand views - this is resulting in getting some authentic traffic from the ranking.

Generally speaking, will using a SMM panel result in getting your channel banned? I'm only using them to boost a video and get them going - should I stop before its too late?

Thanks!

You should use bid slow and check the service

Hmmm
Generaly speaking, your playing with fire. So you have to treat it like a churn and burn. Always be ready for the hammer. Have a back uo plan or grow another chanel along side. Ready for the other one incase of a ban.
I havent used panels with a longterm mindset, because im not in control of the views. SMM panel says the views are high quality, but in my eyes the real high quality are views that you are fully in control of. The accounts you create and get to type your keyword and click your video. We are not in control.of smm panel views. We pay, and they hopefully send them, thats it.

If i was in control of the views and new exactly were they coming from and the views sticked, i wouldnt give a shit.

Even if it's working right now, it doesn't guarantee if this SMM panel will work long term. It's not just about getting banned, let's suppose your SMM panel is very high quality, and you can't get banned but it'll harm your channel in the long term as you'll not have any organic views. Organic views are always better than any SMM panel.

I only use about 2k views from the panel to initially rank, from there all other views are legit - which is normally at least another 5k.

It depends on the quality of the SMM panel you are using and how you are using it

If using smm panel will get your channel banned then why smm are still around for years now?!

I'm saying this because most of our clients are Musicians and are buying thousands to millions of views when they release a new music video but still their account is still active and growing. I'm not sure why some are people against it.

How sure are you the views are legit? from my experience, some SMM panel can overdeliver to maintain a good reputation, and thus this comes across as you getting legit views when in fact it's just from the views you purchased initially. I will also be cautious with this, it's not sustainable as you might think. test this on a test channel first before sending such views to your main channel.

Very certain, unless they tend to over deliver by 10k+ views just from a few k purchased.

As you seem to have found out how to get organic reach after boosting the video once, you only need to keep the audience that you reach interested and subscribed and you might eventually be able to use less and less smm panel boosting. good luck w that fr broski

No, if you use a good panel, channel will not get banned. Also, make quality content so that they do not take action on manual review.

You have to understand that the main reason why experienced YouTube channel operators use SMM panels is to provide social prooffor their content.

How does social proof work?

Imagine you are visiting a new city in the United States and you want to eat at a Chinese restaurant.

You find a Chinese restaurant, but nobody's inside.

You're not from that cit so you don't know the word of mouth, and assuming that you can't access online reviews, you're going to feel stuck.

You look at the menu and everything looks awesome, but there's no other people eating there. What would you do?

Well, if you're a normal person, you probably would not eat anything.

You will leave.

Why?

You associate the absence of other diners with the probable quality of the food.

The same dynamic applies when people come across suggested videos or search for videos related to a certain niche on YouTube.

When they come across a video that has close to zero views, it doesn't matter how awesome the thumbnail is.

They couldn't care less about how relevant that that title is.

They don't even read the description.

Instead, they automatically assumed that since this video has very few views or no views at all, that is must suck.

And let's face it, we're all busy.

And you may think that a few seconds invested in playing a video is not that big of a deal, but since most people who find themselves on YouTube often look at many different videos, those few seconds add up quickly.

That's why people who see low views automatically skip the video.

This is where social proof comes in.

When you use an SMM on your channel to pump up your views, your videos look more appealing.

At the back of the head of the person considering your video is the acknowledgment that since several thousands people have already seen this video, it may be worth my time.

I already liked the thumbnail, the title is on point, and the description is awesome.

I'll give it a shot.

Do you see how this works?

This is social proof in action.

This is why I don't think SMM service providers will ever go away because whenever content consumers are faced with the type of choice I described above, social proof will be the factor that will push them off the fence.

Such long winded useless analogy LOL. What does social proof have something to do with Impressions? No impressions = our videos are not showing up on people screens. I use SMM panel for 'social proof' but not for the reason you describe.

What happened to OP is he hit the sweet spot, some good keywords / topic. If I were him, I will build more content around the topic. And to test if the views from that SMM really what bring the organic views, he can try different channel with different niche / topic, see if it's true.

as long as you're not monetized i wouldn't be to worried. Problem with infalting views is that in order for it work you ll have to inflate them constantly
