When it comes to sending sending tons of automated cold emails daily, will it ever die or get restricted? (Like how LinkedIn restricted outreach)

For example, could ESP (Email Service Providers) like Google team up to do an algorithm change to somehow prevent mass cold emails from hitting inboxes?

(I'm talking about B2B cold email btw, when you use a software to automatically cold email businesses)

Ofcourse it dies, But i don't think that will ever stop you or anyone else cause you just need to take new mailer + new domain and start mailing again. This happens only when you don't follow proper steps of cold mailing.

Good Luck :)

It is already dead for noobs. With all the spam filters and advanced algorithms, cold emails don't hit the inbox unless you absolutely know what you're doing. It used to be way easier some years back.

Cold emailing will always continue to work.

When a problem appears we found a solution.

It will work, but sometime you don't know anything will happen, so take precautions before doing that. Cheers

Cold emailing is always here to STAY.

As spam filters get better, cold emailing will dwindle - though it will never die.

mostly cold emails work a little as most of them reach spam box
because most free email service providers consider large quantity emails from an smtp or Ip as a spam.
However, it works well when the emails reach inbox. You need to use reputed and whitelabelled email marketing software and SMTP to get good results
otherwise you can try emaillistusa dot com niche and country targeted lists

Cold emailing will never die.

As long as email lives (high chances of forever), reaching out to new people can't die. Like, you can't prevent someone to use his phone to call another person. That's just communication between human beings.

However, for sure, it's getting harder on two areas : lead and reply rates and reaching the inbox. Lead rates because people get used to it and deliverability because of spam filtering.

You simply have to be better, be strict on the processes, use the right tools. I love that, it's challenging.

Running cold email campaigns is my daily job and it works pretty well, even during the crisis.

I think he's asking if one particular email address will "die", and the answer is a resounding yes, if you are doing cold email on a larger scale, pretty much every address you have will eventually get blacklisted if you're spamming to death. Churnin' and burnin' is just apart of the game though brotha, make another one and keep the momentum going.

Email and its users are only growing year after year. It's 40x more effective than social media in gaining customer acquisition and US companies spend billions (3.07 in 2019) each year in email marketing efforts. The only Problem is conversion rates plummeting, though the statistics could be polluted with all the junk emails received from ACTUAL spam. More stats provided here - https://startupbonsai.com/email-marketing-statistics/

I've used for cold email marketing for years and with great success. I grew my agency to $36k/month via cold email.

I just recommend following the CAN-SPAM laws and you'll be good!
