I'm selling on Etsy and they completely pissed me off. I now am working on launching my own website and am going to have a monthly paid subscription. I want to run Facebook ads but want to do it properly. I simply don't have time to check separate and different infos on it so a specific course would be good. What course have you tried and you can say it's effective? I've looked a few things from Ecommerce king which is free, not sure if he's legit I haven't tested yet.

There's no course that will hold your hands.

Get a general idea of how things work by watching some YT videos.

The main course is through trial and error and burning money at first.

I don't completely agree.

FB Advertising is a complex software that interfaces with Meta's RTB ad system. And like any complex software - it needs to be learned.

Yes, trial and error will teach you a lot of things - but that comes after you've more than familiarized yourself with the interface completely.

There are nuances that you absolutely need to know before you go about burning your money. Just so you're not blindly burning cash.

OP - there are three things you need to learn

- the ad interface
- copy
- targeting

You should start with Meta Blueprint - https://www.facebook.com/business/learn

Once you've done the basic familiarization - there's some good stuff in Linkedin Learning - https://www.linkedin.com/learning/topics/facebook

Finally, there's this Indian dude who has one of the best courses I have seen - https://go.growthschool.io/facebook-ads-on-demand - It's INR 6999 which translates to roughly USD 85
(Not associated with them, please speak to them - get a demo lecture before considering signing up).

From here on, you'll be able to advertise on Facebook and then your experience takes over. How great of a marketer you become, depends on your acumen, your willingness to learn, your budget spend and what you derive from your experience.

Good luck.

It depends a lot on the niche of your subs. There is no single strategy that last long and they are in constant evolution. If you go to Udemy for example there is a ton of under $20 FB Ads courses that may give you some insight if you are completely lost. But it's unlikely you will find a case use that fits exactly your monthly subs.

But personally I don't think there is any single killer course. The key for me is clearly focusing on the TOOLS. Which tools? First the Ad Tracker. This is omega-key. Then the copy and the ad creation process rollers like AdEspresso which may save you a ton of time for A/B testing and segmentation testing. And the king of all tools, an Ads Spy to see ads that will be similar to your product. For example I recently saw an add for a monthly recurring product, that was plain killer. But the video production was very neat, a couple of thousand bucks spent on that sh*t. So in this case, you will also need to learn on how to produce such quality videos, or prepare a good amount of money.

I don't know if there is a single course that analyses all of this, but for me this is a discipline that goes beyond just FB Ads or Google Ads, but ALL kind of ads, including native, popads, .... so basically this is the CPA learning topic.
Here you can find this specific topic covered: https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/cpa.50/ although this forum doesn't focus on CPA 100% and I cannot recommend you anything for this, because it doesn't abide the rules here.

TL;TR: I would not trust a single FBAds course. It will 100% insufficient, although checking the official docs as @BlogPro is a great head start.

Anyway, if you insist on buying something, check Chase Chappell course (check his free content before to see if it fits you)

Most youtube videos I watch assume that their viewers know all the basics of facebook ads. I want to make sure I know what I'm using, that's different from wanting a course to hold my hand but rather to teach me what it is all about and the proper way to go about it.
Also it's time saving to have everything under one course instead of searching manually

Thank you for you detailed answers! Exactly what I was looking for, will look into those courses and tools!

Get a general understanding of how things work by watching some YT videos.
The main course is that through doing and going wrong and burning money at first will draw good lessons

Read the book: The Ultimate Guide To Facebook Advertising by Perry Marshall. It is not even 20$ and is a complete gem.

No course will hold your hand.
you should learn and learn on youtube and from there you will draw experiences
