I applied for mediavine but was turned down. They said i got too much traffic in india, but that's not my fault... Is there any way to optimize my site? btw, is google adsense basically the same with it? i don't know which one to choose. Google adsense doesn't pay me too much.

You have low tier traffic, you won't earn a lot from it and Mediavine requires high US traffic %

question is i can continue to target the us, which is what i'm doing it all the time, but it still gets traffic from india, the % would be the same, is there anyway to get through this? the traffic mainly comes from discover, which i cannot control, unfortunately...

Honestly I have no idea, I'm in the same boat as you with one of my blogs - most of my traffic is from the Philippines for some reason ‍♂️

you can block access from indian traffic if you want.

haha yeah but let's just call that plan b, coz i was thinking now i'm running adsense, cutting the traffic in india would mean losing money as well...

you can block traffic for 30 days, once you got approval from MV, you can then re enable the indian traffic

Use a script to show mediavine ads only from usa

IDK if declaring hreflang "en-us" will help or not since international targetting setting in GSC will be deleted.

Well my site also swarmed by Indonesian (36%) and Indian (16%) visitors leaving US only for 13%
