There are awesome sellers with great products, then there are rude and unprofessional sellers, with not-so-good products. 4 combinations in total

There should be an official thread with all the current sellers added to the polling list so that users can vote for their favorite seller.

This could be monthly or yearly.

A monetary award to the highest-rated seller is not required. Reddit like strategy can be adopted here by giving awards that hold no value, other than boosting your confidence

Comments can be turned off to prevent fake reviews. Regarding fake votes, only members should be allowed to vote. I'm sure BHW already has a mechanism to prevent bot accounts.

Problem is that there's no way to verify a verified buyer. It would take tons of time to do it manually.

But it can make changes in behaviour of sellers definitely.

Isn't that also subjective, BHW wants to stand on a Neutral side of point more or less.

If it comes from BHW staff, that would be endorsing the BST, wouldn't it?

Very good point. Services selling for $5-$20 will have more number of buyers and will win these contests. Those selling SEO for higher price will never win this because their sales are low because of price of the package.

I think that on marketplace 2.0 there will be an option to either pay through or use BHW as an Escrow service. This will probably allow a more accurate "scoring system" for both sellers and buyers.

No - that's a bad idea. It will discriminates against certain sellers, if they are not ranked among the "best", but in reality if they are good sellers, not cool. Each has qualities, perhaps not all exploited.

It is not possible at this time to open Best Sellers Awards, Because there is no escrow system at BHW as much as i know.
So, Getting the score is very difficult.
