Best program to use to make a bot for creating Twitter accounts?

I've posted about this a few times before but there doesn't seem to be a real answer so perhaps I have to create this myself.

Twitter does not let you post with your new account unless you have a valid e-mail address. So, I figure, I will do the old gmail trick with adding the periods in various places that way I can just use a few gmail accounts (which I can take 5 minutes to create myself).

So, I need a bot that can create the Twitter account using a generated random username and password (not sure where to get lists of these) and then insert a period somewhere in the gmail address, then register.

Can anyone shed some light or give some help on the best way to turn this into a bot? Thanks for any help at all!

I would use uBot for this. In fact, you could make your own bot that registers a new yahoo email, uses it to create a twitter account and then opens up yahoo mail and verifies the email address for twitter.

uBot will also input random usernames and passwords when registering, so you don't even need a list. A bot like this could be done fairly quickly with that particular program.

If you wanted to, you could even scrape popular tweets and post them to your newly created twitter account on the fly and then add a list of new friends. The possibilities are endless.

I downloaded that ubot but there's a part that says something like api-secure.recaptcha.net/image?c=* and i think i keep getting an error there.

for ubot, do i have to buy a recaptcha account or something to be able to use the ubot then?

Recapcha is the service Twitter uses to provide capcha services. You can't 'buy' an account there.

Roll your own in C#. Then you can update it when Twitter does things that break it and other bots.

Just look at the history of YouTube bots (among others). None of the "publicly" available ones work worth a damn any more.

There are still working ones in use, they're just kept and maintained by private parties.

Ultimately, C# is a real programming language and probably the way to go. However, I do not have that kind of time for an investment to learn C#. Sure, I learned C and C++ when I was younger but I am not that good at programming languages.

The nice thing about ubot is that it's set up to interact with webpages in a way that most people are trying to use it for different services.

I feel like C# is too much of an investment for this kind of project, especially when a ubot code is already set up 80-90% on the internet.

I guess what it ultimately comes down to is that I need to move too quickly to try to earn some cash before I can sit back and try to learn something as time investment heavy like C#.

Yeah, I think that particular bot is for running within ubot itself, not as a stand alone app. However, it gives you an idea of the possibilities with uBot that would allow you to create these bots for twitter and any other online service/website.

In regards to someones comment about custom coding a bot in C#, I think its a great idea if you already know programming. But with a tool like uBot that does not require any prior programming knowledge it just makes sense to go that route.

It would be hard to justify the time spent in learning to program a bot, when I could drop $200 and have my own bot coded in less than an hour, which not only saves me a lot of time, it also saves me a lot of money. Not sure about anyone else, but I place a pretty hefty price tag on my time.
