Hello everyone! Since I am Webflow developer, I would make a a blog in Webflow.
I kinda need some advices for my new blog:
How can I drive traffic to my blog?
How could I earn money?
Is there any site similar to Adsense that pays well?
What niche should I use?

Take some time to explore the threads in BHW. You will find your answers right there.

Almost every question has been answered here, you just need to find the answer in older threads.

How can I drive traffic to my blog?
1. SEO (takes time and investment)
2. Social media (takes dedication)
3. UGC sites like Reddit, Quora, Pinterest (takes know-how and dedication)
4. Youtube (takes consistency)
5. PPC (Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram Ads, Bing Ads, etc)... takes investment and know-how
6. specialty forums in your niche (takes consistency)

How could I earn money?
Adsense is a good option if you don't have your own product / service

Is there any site similar to Adsense that pays well?
there are many alternatives to Adsense, but I think that Adsense pays the best. Alternatives: Monumetric, PropellerAds, Revcontent, Infolinks

What niche should I use?
well, your niche is webflow (whatever that means, I'm not familiar with this word), so the niche already picked itself. Or, you could choose a niche like web development, programming, site design, etc. since these seem somehow related to what you're doing

1. Focus on long tail keywords in your niche.
2. Invest time to write your content - make him quality.

Just write very good content in this niche. Content with expertise will always rank in this.

Well, I would probably post recipes, and that kind of stuff, so does it matter because recipes don't have that much words in it?

Do a pro proper keyword research for your niche, and pick out low completion with high search volume keywords. Create high-quality content that engages your audience. Share your blog post on various social media channels.

Webflow is impressive niche. You have so many ways to monetize it other than adsense. Like affiliate with other webflow agency. Sell you own services, and ebooks and courses.

But yes, something's are irreplaceable. You still require to put hours to create seo friendly content.

If you are not satisfied with Adsense, try Ezoic.

  • Create blog posts that serve your larger company goals.
  • Identify what resonates with your audience.
  • Write like you talk.
  • Show your personality; don't tell it.
  • Make your point again and again.
  • Start with a very specific working title.
  • Specific posts should still tie into the bigger picture.

Define your goals first and apply the skills you've learned over the years.

Earn money in many ways by selling sponsored posts, ads through traffic, ads through cpc, selling/flipping your sites, etc.

Yes, you can ask here in BHW about other sites that sell ad placements.

Niche - it depends on whether you're the one writing or you will hire another writer. If you are the writer, write what content you are confident in.

To drive traffic, SEO is a good option. A proper keyword research and extraordinary content are important. And social media promotions will also help.

Do not chase money in start. Just make the blog useful for audience. Suppose you are making a blog about coffee mugs, then cover A to Z of this topic.

You should consider WordPress, as there LOADS of plugins and themes available to make the website the most profitable as possible ;)

Webflow allows you to create really really nice website. But nice website without a goal will doom soon.

Make sure these things are on the track:-
1. keyword planning
2. Content planning
3. On page and off page
4. Affiliate links

Don't go for ads make sure you make a robust traffic first.

You need to learn more about SEO and stuff.

Learn about keyword researching, particularly collecting the low competitive keywords.

Write a lot of articles and interlink them. Share on social media and try for guest posts.

Monetize with adsense and as the traffic grows, apply for affiliate programs for your niche.

That's it for today.

My best advice to you is for you to focus on coming up with a unique enough blog so you can basically control the amount of competition you're going to run up against.

A lot of people don't bother to do this, and that's why a lot of them end up settling for cents on the dollar.

They could be making so much more.

Their return on effort could've been amazing.

But unfortunately, they just simply pursued a "hot niche" and targeted keywords that everybody else is after and ended up with a whole lot of nothing.

You have to zero in on the right niche.

And once you do that, everything else is pretty much relatively easy.

I can say that with confidence because as long as you know what your sub-niche's main target keyword is, you can find related keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner tool.

Enter those related keywords into Google, and pay close attention to the results.

Study those sites.

Are they your direct competitors?

If they are, you're in luck!

Compile a list of their domain names.

Once you're done with this part of the research process, enter your list of domain names into paid SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.

You can then see the organic keywords that your competitors are ranking for.

Filter those keywords in terms of keyword difficulty and cross-reference that with monthly search volume.

And then, once you filter that list, load each keyword into Google and pay close attention to the results.

Do the results deliver on the search intent?

Are the results obviously high quality?

Do the results deliver value?

If they don't, keep those keywords.

If they do, take them off your list.

By the end of this process, you should have a solid list of underserved keywords in your sub-niche.

For whatever reason, your competitors are doing a lousy job delivering on the search intent behind those keywords.

Remember, people are looking for an experience.

People are looking for a specific outcome when they type one set of keywords instead of another.

That is not an accident.

That is not a fluke.

That difference exists for a reason.

By investing a tremendous amount of time, effort, and focus into identifying and delivering on the intent behind those keywords, you will be able to beat your competition.

And once more and more of your pages start to rank, because of the technique that I described above, you can then move on to more targeted yet competitive keywords.

But by that time, your domain authority should have improved enough, so you increase your chances of actually ranking.

This is the best advice I can give to a new blogger because the process above saves you a tremendous amount of time.

It gives you an amazing headstart.

Another piece of advice I can give to a new blogger is that you do not write your posts.

Look into dictablogging or dictation blogging.

Blog with your voice.

Of course, this means that you're somewhat of an expert in what you're talking about or at least are well-read and have enough experience.

But eventually, you will be able to pull it off because if you're thinking about something from experience, chances are, you will be able to answer people's questions even with a blindfold on.

This information is already part of you.

Also, it helps if you are a linear and logical thinker.

This way, you're not thinking in circles.

But I truly believe that practice makes perfect, so if you invest enough time into dictablogging, eventually, you will be able to go from 2000 words, which was my old output, to 24,000 words or more per day, which is my current output.

Alternatively, you can always outsource.

There are many resources available on this forum, as well as specific platforms for that option.

You asked some good questions, so I'll try to go through them one by one:

For a new blogger, one piece of advice is to consistently produce high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience. Engage with your readers through comments, social media, and email to build a community around your blog.

For the traffic you can learn some SEO techniques, how to use less competitive keywords, and the right way to create good backlinks. Also you can promote your blog and reach a wider audience.

You can make money through google adsense, affiliate marketing, sponsored posts or even selling your products on your blog.

As you know, Adsense is a popular ad network, but there are other alternatives such as Media.net, Infolinks and many more (I recommend you ezoic). or you can try different networks and see which one works best for your blog.

Finally, I can't tell you which niche is good for you. Only you can know the answer because it depends on what you like to do.

I hope this answer helps you in your progress. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help. ALL THE BEST!!!
