Best Bulk Cold Emailing Solution 2021

I use a custom sending tool but for tools on the market I recommend MailShake.

I've trained a close friend who now makes 15k / month selling cold email services. His setup is very simple :
- 1 G suite account
- Mailshake to run the campaigns
- Mailreach for the warm up and maintaining high deliverability
can you teach me?

Nope, I don't have the time.

But you can read this thread and ask questions here. I bulk reply from time to time.

Update : what seem to work more and more from my experiments and my contacts is : short emails, straight to the point, really conversational, authentic. Don't sell on the first email, show your curiosity and show how you solve a problem. If you don't solve a real problem, stop working for a useless product or service.

As more and more people send cold emails in the world, more and more people are contacted. The attention's span is minimized, you need to make impact fast, so remove all the bullshit.

Remember this question : "What's in it for me ?" You need to reply to that question ASAP in your emails. And talk about the final value, not the superficial elements.

Be outstanding.

You can use multiple Gmail accounts with mail merge.

@Shatzyo
Hope you doing well with your business.

My Gsuite sending accounts got suspended and disconnected from the sending tool. Google's reason: suspicious behavior. But I could just log in to Gsuite and recover it by myself.

1) What do you consider typical reasons for this?
I don't do crazy volumes. My bounce rate is below 3%

2) Does staying logged in to the account help? I somehow always get logged out every 1-2 days. Any way to avoid this?

Update on my progress: Having the first sales calls and positive reply rate is getting better because I am testing a lot.
All thanks to Shatzyo and his insights that got me started. Cheers man! :)

Cold emails are dead for the most part, this niche got very saturated especially after corona, I have been in this space for a few years, and it is just not what it used to be,
you would be very lucky if you get a qualified lead, let alone a conversion after sending thousands of targeted emails nowadays.

So many people scrape Linkedin (and other directories) for contacts of CEOs/VPs/Managers etc... with various of tools (Apollo being one of them), email them and "personalize" their copy with first name+company name
using GMass, Lemlist, Mailshake etc... that the contacts got desensitized and automatically report cold emails a spam.

Hitting 60%+ is not a problem because spam filters often open the emails and because professionals generally check their emails, but replies are rare and when you get replies, most are not interested,

You will also notice that data dies fast even though the target is still in the same company and position, this is because once the target's email and data is scarped and shared between multiple databases, he will get absolutely bombarded with cold emails
making the target need to change his inbox.

I personally know someone from Germany who got a 6,000 euro fine for sending a cold email to the wrong person, so be careful about that as well, most scrapers who claim to be GDPR-compliant are not,
you can see that with Apollo's Trustpilot reviews.

What Shatzyo is not saying the complete truth, he is saying that he is earning $10k-$15k a month with cold emails but
even at the peak, those earnings were essentially non-existent, and even when someone got close to those earnings, he wouldn't be able to sustain his earnings because data is scarce, especially with targeted campaigns,

And I know for a fact that today those earnings using the plan he descirbed is just plain impossible.

Overall, in 2022 the cold email market is not worth it and you will just loss your money.

Wow, what a pessimist post dude.

Of course cold emails are not dead. But I confirm you took the right decision to move to another industry.

Yes indeed, it's getting harder and harder but there's still no way it can die. It's more resilient that any other channel. The only algorithm that impacts you and your reach is deliverability. Versus social media like TikTok / LinkedIn Ads / FB ADs, a change in their blackbox algo can screw your marketing.

Saying cold emails are dead is like saying billboards, TV ads or Newspapers Ads are dead. It's just saying advertising is dead and that's completely wrong.

Since dozens of years people see more ads each year, that doesn't mean billboards or TV commercials don't generate sales today.

Yes, people get more and more contacted, like they see more and more ads in the subway. The attention span decreases, that's a fact. And what ?

Cold emails is just a way to show your value proposition to people, like any other marketing channel from print media to Facebook Ads. If you manage to show you solve a problem, then the marketing channel doesn't really count.

And that's the key : solving a real problem.

Usually, people who don't succeed at cold emailing are in the following case :

- They sell useless products or services that don't solve any problem so nobody cares.
- They're not good email copywriters.
- They have a shitty deliverability.

So yes, I manage to make between $10k/$15k per month and guess what ? I could do way more and regularly say no to companies ready to pay me $1k+ monthly.

And I'm a small fish, you can't imagine how much some cold email agencies make today. That's a great business, but yes, you have to be good.

1) Google suspensions usually happen because you got too many emails reported as spam (as a %). That's an automated rule from Google. You just have to reactivate the user and you're good to go. No permanent bans.

2) It has no impact.

Great to see you had your first sales call, you're 100% right to keep testing to improve. Never stop A/B testing to always improve.

Good luck

I don't believe in this kind of weird practices. You don't need that.

To have a great deliverability and opening rates, you need to follow the best practices + use a warming tool as it's much harder without one in 2022, that's all.

Btw, all these best practices are explained in this great deliverability guide by Mailreach, a must read IMO : How to prevent emails from going to spam
I've read the guide, and it raises the suspicion that you work for Mailreach, since it says exctly what you have been saying here :D anyway, you still gave a lot of value to beginnners like me to the topic

Wow, what a pessimist post dude.
It is a pessimist post because I am telling the truth about the situation of this industry, I have worked with multiple briliant marketers who used cold emails to generate leads, all of them saw a massive decline in responeses as time went on, making me concluding that this markeitng channel is effectively dead
or at least very saturated.

Yes indeed, it's getting harder and harder but there's still no way it can die. It's more resilient that any other channel. The only algorithm that impacts you and your reach is deliverability. True, I am not going to argue with that, but there other factors to consider when deciding on a marketing channel

Saying cold emails are dead is like saying billboards, TV ads or Newspapers Ads are dead. It's just saying advertising is dead and that's completely wrong.
Most of those marketing channels are dead for 99% of use cases, only big brands buy those to keep awareness, the ROI is like 5% on TV ads as far as I remember, so it is not a good example.

So yes, I manage to make between $10k/$15k per month and guess what ? I could do way more and regularly say no to companies ready to pay me $1k+ monthly.
And how consistent is that if it is even partially true? I don't remember the targeted data I was scraping lasting for long, the customer lifecycle with cold email services is ridiculously short, without setup and follow ups it would be even shorter.

As far as I know the internet is full of people who try to sell you something, you don't seem to sell a course, maybe the guy above is right and you are working for/with mailreach as you have a very simailr writing style,
you also seem to promote Emelia which is a very unknown French tool, MailReach is also a French company, are you French by chance?

It could also be that you get a rush from taking the role of someone who knows the answers, but it is impossible to know.

I go by a rule on the internet which has never failed me, if someone came to the point that he shares his method publicily, be it for free or to promote something he sells, then the method is almost certaintily saturated or reaching the point of saturation.

Um, really?

I'm not sure to understand the problem here.

Yes of course, I work with Mailreach, totally. They're part of my cold email setup. I'm fully transparent with that. I have all my inboxes being warmed with them. I know their guidelines and the best practices they recommend.

Emelia is a french company (I don't know why but frenchies are pretty good at building email softwares, hunter.io, evaboot, sendinblue, lemlist, ...). It's a cheaper competitor than Lemlist and Mailreach talked to me about them. That's a good solution to send emails from Google.

I'm one of the first customers of Mailreach and regularly give them feedbacks so I know them and stay in touch with the team.

I'm not earning any money from that. I'm just sharing things. But that's funny to see it bothers you.

I take some time every week on BHW to learn things on various topics and give some valuable stuff from what I've learned. It looks like it helps some people. What value do you provide? Apart from saying that cold emailing is dead, which is completely wrong?

Come on, please share useful things to this thread and bring value. You're not helping anyone for now.

These open rates means either most of your emails go to spam or you have high bounce rate

I'm not even referring to the open rates, please read my message again and you will understand exactly my point of the whole post.

If deliverability and inboxing are not your priority i guess this is a good way to clean your list. Because eventually your domain&ip will be blacklisted and emails rejected by some servers. You'll need more domains aged by a few weeks.

But then there are cheaper options to verify your list at scale.

I understand your move, that's a good try, but unfortunately that's not a winning strategy for two reasons :

1. You send way too many emails (per day, per all, huge bursts are the worst). It's killing your reputation (which I think is already dead). So that means you'll get a lot of bounces, not because the recipient's email is invalid, but because you'll get blocked for spam suspicion. At some point, most of your emails won't even land anywhere in the mailbox, valid emails will block you, so you'll get false negatives.

2. Second, I assume you don't care, but that's totally unethical. Bad karma. Up to you.

I recommend to avoid that and validate your lists using a tool.

Validate where? mate i seen the rates for validation its sick! i got email list of 2.5M i mean like wtf.

Zerobounce, Debounce for example.

You don't need to validate the 2.5M once.

2.5M emails should last you a lot of time, months at least.

Because if your plan is to reach out to the 2.5M ASAP, you're going to land in spam ASAP.
