Beware from Gologin Anti-detect Browser

I have been a long-time user of the Gologin browser however, today, I encountered some serious issues with the app, and I decided to shift to some other app instead as the issues are very serious.

1. When I open any profile on the Gologin app, it shows me a phishing warning straightaway for the anti-virus. Mind you, the warning is NOT about the app itself. It's about a URL that is being accessed via Gologin, which is a PHISHING page.

I don't see any reason why this URL is being accessed in the first place when I open the profile? To be used as phishing or something else to get our information? I'm not sure.

2. The next thing is with their app itself when you open their profile from the app while masking the CANVAS(adding noise) and then visiting Pixelscan. The profile crashes instantly when it tries to fetch the canvas which means something is definitely wrong with how their app functions. If Pixelscan can sniff their browser, how likely is it that FB, and Google already knows that you're NOT using a normal browser?

I experined the same thing with their canvas feature and pixelscan. I did the check after having one of my acc banned.

As per your screenshot, the antivirus is AVG.
AVG antivirus is itself a virus !!!
Years ago I worked for Norton, AVG, Symantec technical support(s) : Keep the hell away from AVG.
And moreover many anti-detect browser providers nowadays are mentioning that their systems are getting compromised.
We use anti-detect browsers to game the system(s) and then hackers hack the anti-detect browsers to game us.
Sometimes, to win something, we need to be ready to (sometimes) lose something. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
It is a jungle. It's fine being attacked once in a while, just make sure you are not eaten.

I had experience with different antidetects. for the past few years, the team has been using gologin and dolphin, dolphin is also good, but if you read the news, all their logs were in the public domain, and those who dealt with crypto lost hundreds of thousands, while gologin settled on it, there were no problems with antivirus, try another antivirus, I personally have kaspersky

Well I dont know about gologin, but my browser23 that i was selling in marketplace bhw , upon license key activation was getting picked up by some antivirus too. Today antivirus picks up any kind of crap, like 3 hours ago my lenovo laptop and avg was banning lenovo page, flark knows why, not to mention when antivirus see something trying to contact server to verify license code, thats red code immediately. So its not always right..... Look half bittorent programs getting picked up, sooo im not defending, maybe its really malicious , but if the browser is not used by millions so it would be in radar to be added to whitelist worldwide and its constantly contacting server for verification purpose ofcourse antivirus gonna keep picking it up. Nobody wants to release key code program cus it get cracked and then half world has it for free. So license and server authentication comes to place,but if your smaller it can cause problems for antivirus. but its far from meaning someone is hacking you. they just judge and give you what would look similar, its not even that, its automatic auto suggestion thats closest to antivirus ai, while in reality like i said, it just might be like in my case - secure server verification thats all.

How is it even connected? I'm pretty sure they are connecting to this URL somewhere. And this page is definitely a phishing page that is blocked by Chrome. I know some encryption in the app code can trigger some antivirus, but it's the web shield that blocked this link and NOT the app's encrypted code.

I confirmed this without using AVG, it is definitely sending something or trying to connect to the above phishing link.(Used Proxifier to check)

If you're in doubt, check Virustotal They've building a community for many years now and you can find someinteresting insights. According to this user, the page you're referring to has been built by Google to trigger the phishing warning. And indeed, another reference to this page can be found on GitHub where developers of Firefox for Android are discussing this test page not triggering a proper error in their browser.

This is not a phishing site, the page is safe. That's the good thing. The bad thing is that for some reason, something, is opening that page in your production version of the browser. So either the developers are complete morons who don't run proper QA before releasing their builds or there's something else fetching that page. Do you have any third-party extensions installed?

I checked their software, and they are still using Chromium 100 which is not good, they also have workers who comes here with accounts to do obvious shills for Gologin,
I called out one of them once and they didn't bother to respond in a proper manner.

Finally, a worthy comment, thank you so much mate, for actually taking the time and letting people know what might have caused it. Appreciate your response. Their developers don't listen, and their support is shit. They just copy and paste the automated reply that they were advised instead of actually solving the issue.

Update you app, buddy. 103 chrome. Any antivirus will strict with browser checkers. Checkers ask browser parameters. I work with this software without any problems, guys. Use your settings and good proxies wisely. Peace!

Another worker from Gologin trying so hard to praise them. Dude, you don't even know what I am talking about. You are obviously trying hard to praise them when they should fix their issue. If you are not their worker, try masking the canvas and checking it on Pixelscan and then get back here. Until then, stop praising Gologin all over the forum.

In defense of gologin, I can say that the request that is sent is completely safe (it would even be strange to add the word "phishing" to the phishing link). This is a link to the anti-phishing check in chrome, which is not by default in chromium, the same pixel scan has a check for this.

But about the fact that the tab crashes when opening a pixel scan - this is a problem either in the fingerprint spoofing algorithm, or in the wrong build of the browser. Such things should generally be checked before they are given to the user, but I hope they have already fixed these problems.
