Well, you're quite wrong there.

Here are a few reasons why 0.5 to 1-minute videos are more effective.

• Since they're so short it's easier to get high viewer retention
• There is less resistance to clicking a 40-second video than an 8-minute video since it's a smaller time investment. Hence boosting the CTR.
• The videos are easily bingeable, which benefits session watch time.

2 - Biased view point, not everyone. Depends what you looking for.
3 - it depends on niche, dnt you think? Just because a video is under 1 minute doesnt mean il watch 20 of them.
