Hey, does anyone have success with running tiktok ads on stolen viral tiktok videos?

I heard that if you copy the same video that was already uploaded to tiktok the tiktok algorithm won't favor your ad.

Properly edit the video before using it for ads. Original content is better.

I have no idea. I do nothing but remove the watermark. I have never had a problem and have been doing this for over a year on several ad accounts. The problems I had were related to my site (I mentioned it was 50% off but the calculation was not right, etc), nothing about the videos.
