[JOURNEY] Transparent Digital Agency Journey

Introduction

I will keep the introduction short and to the point. I have been on BHW for a while now and I have to say I haven't seen a more likeable and motivational community anywhere. There were many journeys I have took and had some success in them but nothing that fulfills my entrepreneurial self. So I am starting a big one here bois. And I will take you guys for the ride.

The Plan

So the plan is to start a Digital Agency and offer the following services:

• Web Development
• E-Commerce
• Social Media Management
• Online Marketing

I am planning on adding more services once I grow the team. Our team is currently 3 people strong. Hopefully this will grow into the double digits by the end of the year.

For customers I currently have a family member that already has a successful business and has many leads on his hands. This is a huge leap and I am very lucky and grateful to have it.

To gain more customers I will be integrating an affiliate program that pays 10% of the profits to anyone that gets us leads. Hoping to se a good amount of customers this way.

• A strong and ambitious team

I plan to update this thread every week hopefully or whenever I have some free time on my hands. Currently balancing this and graduation. Hope I don't go crazy.

Again I want to thank the staff team and everyone on BHW for the amazing people keeping this forum alive and the ambition to independency and freedom.

For now just don't want this to go tits up. But ~$1000-2000 a month would be a realistic goal for the end of the year.

UPDATE

Just for a quick update I have been working on and off on my agency for the past few months. Currently trying to figure out my schedule as I work my 9-5 too. There hasn't been nothing substantial happening but I will be trying to keep this thread updated through the next phase of my plan for the agency. Thanks everyone for being interested in my journey

Hello there fellow $bread$ chasers,

Just a quick update on the digital marketing agency.

I have been looking into getting customers in the local area. Although to no avail. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a terrible market for that as people are greedy and not appreciative of the work that goes into online marketing. So I am now shifting my scopes to the 1st world market. Wish me luck as the banking system here is also F...d up. Many barriers to jump but I am still pushing through. Let's see how far I can go!

I am also working on my job so balancing the time between them has been quite challenging but I am getting the hang of things.

Hey BHW! Long time no see. So I have been doing some rebranding around my agency and now I am planning everything out from scratch. The first attempt got me a lot of knowledge that I will use right now. I am also looking for some partners in this. It’s pretty hard going in with little knowledge and guidance into the agency business. But I’m chugging along.
Here’s the stuff I have done until now:

• Create social media channels
• Create website
• Created content for the socials
• Started writing articles for SEO

So now it is time to get serious with it. Thanks to anyone still interested in my journey you shall receive more updates in the near future!

Update 20/1/2023

The plan has been set into motion!

The website is up, the social media channels are being posted to, and prospects are now being reached out to!

It has been some time since I last posted but in the meantime I have grinded on my day job and have been creating a thorough plan with all my goals set in place. Right now is execution time. I have got a team of 3 people right now -- an editor, a copywriter, and me! I have created a plan that laser focuses on one service, and that is-... (drumroll please) SHORT FORM VIDEO! Yes, those videos that have been constantly popping up in your shorts, tiktok, and reels feeds with the captions. That is what I am gonna start off with. They are short, informative, and eye-catching content that converts well. Now all I have to do is start reaching out via cold emails and DMs to prospects offering the service. Now I have put a little spin on it. I want to be geniune and cut the typical sales B.S. others are doing. I will send them a short message explaining the concept as well as a free video that shows them what they will be getting.

So. It has begun. I hope to find more time to post here and possibly inspire more people with my journey and keep myself motivated.
