Yes I think so! Why? Because Ahref sucks these days. And it's look like they've gone south already.

Only semrush if they lower their prices to not a $200 monthly minimum for basic package lol. Other than that no , I only trust ahrefs & google Keyword planner ‍

This is like asking if anyone thinks Amazon can be replaced, google, etc. Yes. Everything will eventually be replaced either with something more advanced or by nothing because the service became obsolete.

I think the more important question is, in 10 years will SEOs still be checking backlinks? If not then what I said above about becoming obsolete will be in ahrefs future potentially.

Years ago Semrush was much better than Ahrefs, so was Majestic.
Semrush lost their way, Ahrefs got investment and became the better product.

Now Ahrefs have lost their way and Semrush could really grab market share again if they upped their game/dropped their pricing a little.

From what I know, Semrush is a much larger company than Ahrefs isn't it? Just, those Singapores and Koreans from Ahrefs INC love digging data and organize them in a cool way, no idea why, maybe they got some really good data scientists.

Most of people hit my price hike/ trial removal are already using semrush. With Google dinging every other site with each update how can hrefs justify the outrageous pricing. Most of the low comp keywords are not updated, volume estimate is stale.
Slash the price already.
