Does Anyone Really Make Any ClickBank Sales?

I totally agree with the above comment. I have recently started using keyword optimized blogs to rank and drive traffic. Seems to work better for long term conversions than the articles i relied on before for traffic. A mix seems to work well,still testing though...

Easy selling, provided you target your pitch to the right customer with a right pitch. I make sales very easily with my own product however I have never tried selling for other. (do not ask for what product I have, I am letting you know before someone else blames me for pitching, No PMs either)

My CB average is 48 hops per sale and the traffic comes directly from pages on my sites that explain the ebooks we are selling from CB. I make it sound as if the ebook is better than sex with the hottest chick you can think of... you absolutely have to presell and you absolutely have to have targeted traffic.

I agree 100%.

If you want to start seeing sales coming in, you have to send targeted traffic and you have to pre-sell them.

There's no point in wasting hours creating and promoting if you are just going to send any type of traffic to your landing page.

Another thing I learned is that you will do much better if you sell CB products that are NOT internet marketing related. Even IM noobs are aware of Clickbank and they know that if they want to purchase a product from there, they just sign up as an affiliate and have a friend purchase the product for them under their affiliate link. As a result, the commission they get from the sale comes back to them, so they are essentially getting the product at a 50% - 75% discount.

If you are selling to Non-Internet Marketing people, they won't be aware of that loophole.

You are right. Also your conversion rate will be better (IF you send targeted traffic to a pre-sell site first). And the refund rate is lower in many cases as well. At least I experienced it in the niches I am using for CB products promotions.

I suspect luck of the draw also has something go to do with it. I've been making about 3-5 sales a day every day for about $50 a day profit. I'm not doing any pre-sales (I think??) and I don't think my traffic is really that targeted. If it is targeted I have no idea how. I don't even have that much traffic, I have 2 hop links. I'm not really that sure how many impressions vs clicks im getting because I'm too cheap to pay my hosting company for premium stats, but I have some free aw stats and it looks like I'm getting 200 US uniques a day to the page with the hop links. I don't count uniques from other countries of course.

I almost didn't see your post with this astonishing statement.

Please be aware that Clickbank is just an affiliate network and not some bad or cursed place that makes it impossible to make money from.

It just depends on your skills to 1. choose the right products and 2. to use the right promotional tools to make sure your affiliate campaigns will be successful=make you money.

To the OP... if you get 1000+ hops and no sales, something is obviously wrong. Change the product or source of traffic... just keep going at it until something works, because it eventually will. Guaranteed.

1) (Take Product price from sales page - 7.5% Clickbank commission) -$1
This gives you the net commission

2) Take the net commission and x by % commission indicated by the product

3) Subtract from the amount in #2 the earnings per sale

Now you will have a number like 0.08.

4) Take this amount and divide by the amount from #2, then multiply by 100 to get % refund.
