[Need Suggestions ] Building a Keyword Research Tool

So I have been building a keyword research tool where one can check SERP visually on the go & point out the low competition keywords without lifting much of a finger.

I want to keep the cost at minimum until I got the traction.

I heard about Google Adwords API but was denied for the same from Google.

Is there a way to source keyword volume, CPC etc data at cheap?

Or is there any way or a hack to get approval for Google Adwords API?

I am also looking for your suggestion regarding how do you want a keyword research app to perform.

$75 per million keywords sounds pretty cheap to me.

I wouldn't say there is a way to "hack" the data in any way. At least nothing sustainable for the long term if you are wanting to create a service. Best to just go with a third party and let them do all the work.

Yes, I have checked out this one. Still want to keep operating cost as low as possible. I have plans for this in the later stage. Thanks for your comment

I want to learn front end. So building a real world like application will make me better at it.
I do keyword research frequently, So it will save up my time & cost.

It will be similar to keyword chef & low fruits where we can check competition using custom domains & forums.
Apart from it I am also planning to introduce content difficulty metrics on the basis of how good the top 10 articles are.
+ some ongoing stuff.
Would love your suggestion if you have any.

Regarding Ahref, I wouldn't rate it best in terms of competition checking though would agree it has quite vast keyword database.

It's limited for new accounts. If you have a good ads history with Google they allow unlimited access to their API.

Ahrefs it is not only keyword tool. It is a powerful seo tool which solve many seo issues. I worked with projects that start from 100k and goes to more than 2 million USA organic traffic per month just using Ahrefs. To be honest I even don`t use Google keyword planning. As becuase it doesn`t make sence at all from my experience.


But from your side i apreciate your passion to develop and drive your own tool so go ahead. it is great.

I lack in this department. To be honest I have not yet formulated a strategy. Any suggestions?
The only thing in mind currently is affiliate marketing.
