How to avoid ID verification on linkedin?

Hi,

I am trying to make an account on linked in for a fictional persona. Everytime I make an account I lose access to the account and they want me to upload an ID. I have not done anything on linkedin but fill out the profiles. Obviously since this is a fictional personal, I don’t have an ID.

Is linkedin requiring that everyone who signs up must verify ID?

I also have the same problem. The difference is when I try to make someone else's account with someone else's, they asked me for ID verification. But my account (with my ID), never asked ID verification.
Linkedin also restricted the account sometimes, so it is really hard to not verify the ID with any ID card that they want.
Maybe they want "real" people only...

If only real people can do business this would preclude just about every rapper, and some writers that use a pseudonym. I’m not understanding why I’m being asked for ID just for registering an account. Or if this is just what I can expect everytime I try to make an account? I don’t know what else I could have done to avoid verification. I used a real computer, browser, and my home IP!

Maybe they just want to sell user data and want to make sure they have the correct data..?

an aged account with a static IP address that hasn't been abused and not changing the account details will help you to avoid the ID verification.

Using linked in without any id proof is impossible...That may eradicate bots but also will lead to decreasing users and revenue

I've used my own ID, the real one.

I had same issue while creating LinkedIn accounts for some cloud gaining purposes.
What I suggest is get the ID verification resolved if the purpose is valuable to you.
Save the name, IP, address used while signing up.
I think there are some people either here or elsewhere that can provide you with ID verification help.

No. I gave up on LinkedIn for now. It’s not that important to my business.

Everytime I made an account, I always ask for ID. Even the account is run perfectly. So, just use any ID you have, maybe(?). Or buy an existing linkedi account to begin with.

Have you used a photoshop id? I’ve been thinking about it but have not gotten around to it.
