Should I use domain (.org) for a personal blog? this is an expired domain.
Thank you, and have a good day, all guys

I have one and is performing quite well. I use it for a niche site.

Why not? .org domains are widely known and accepted. A .com domain will always be the best option, but it's not mandatory. I believe .org domains are perfectly fine.

Of course why not? Tho using a .org instead of a .com or .net doesn't sit well in my brain. Unless I plan on running a legally registered organisation, .orgs are a no no for me.

.org is good you shouldn't have any problem. However since it is your personal blog then how about .name or .online?

dot com would be a better option. However, a dot org also is good enough for a blog, as it much better than a dot xyz, etc.
At the moment Namecheap is offering dot com at US$9.76 for new customers for 1st year registrations and no need to register for more than 1 year, select 1 year only and you can get it at US$9.76 for 1st year, see https://www.namecheap.com/promos/new-com-promo/ . At checkout apply the promo code that shows there on their official website. Create an account and then you will be able to apply that promo code.

.name .online are both uncommon on google search
That's fine if they are uncommon, but since it is a personal website then personal branding matters. With good content and SEO efforts the ranking and traffic can be earned, but here 'Branding' is the main focus.

These days it is almost impossible to get a .com for your name and while.org is not that bad, I feel .name or .online more relevant to the purpose.

Does it have some da like more than 10? If yes then go for it. Else go for .com

.org .com .net is good you just need to do good seo
I can confirm I'm using all three tld's. It's just a matter of how users will remember the domain name along with the tld, after all, if they have to manually type it. From a technical SEO standpoint I believe these all three have equal chances. Indirectly though, people typing .com instead of .net/org and then abandoning intent, could mean affected direct traffic.

.org in my eyes is fine for a blog, but if u planning on selling a product then .com is a must.

Yes, but ensure you are keeping it in the same/similar niche.

I had a .com domain for an ed category niche. The progression was going fine with the .com domain but unfortunately, the domain got expired. After 6 months while renewing the same name, it becomes too much expensive. So decided to take a .org without any option. I can say, that .org is not at all performing well either in SEO or any manner as compared to .com ones.

You can have.me or .blog or .org in that matter but usually i have seen many blogs on .me & .blog

Wish you luck.
