I had found 1 keyword with big search volume and without competition which was not auto-corrected, registered EMD, made site, backlinks, etc - no luck.
Later Google added this keyword to auto-correction list.

I think that in your case will be precise as @Turbo B. after a while of work, google will add it to the autocorrect list.
