Ranking over Amazon/Etsy and other e-commerce platform site?

Hey guys, I'm working on my e-commerce site and I noticed that some of my keywords are ranking better than Amazon/etsy, but some KWs don't. How can I determine which KW is viable to rank higher than those e-commerce giants?

long tail keywords with more / better content usually does the trick from what I've noticed. But for tougher keywords I don't know, maybe with some quality links (and definitely with a highly topical relevancy domain)

most amazon product page contains about 200 words of content with little relevancy, so I guess I'll have to create better content. Can you recommend type of backlinks should I get to gain the most from them? like should I buy PBN links or guest posts? Does 2.0 Webs link worth the invest?

yeah, Pbns, guest posts, niche edits will do the job, but you'll want a mix of them, not just 1 type

web 2.0s are useless. And you can build them for free, no need to pay for them.... Actually, wait! You're going to need an AI writer / content spinner to create content for the web 2.0s if you want to go this route, so there is a bit of investment

But you won't see any ranking improvements with web 2.0s, so I wouldn't waste my time on this. A much better option would be to focus on getting the topical authority of your site up as this is a much more important ranking factor than web 2.0 backlinks. Start by choosing a slightly broader sub-niche of your main niche (so you can have lots of products to cover), and create content around everything that's related to that sub-niche, not just content around the products, but also guides (if applicable) on using those products, or guides on where those products are best used or what they can be bundled up with for greater experience in that sub-niche, make some product reviews, etc... The categories of your site will most likely be defined by the sub-niche you'll choose...
