Some questions about niche edite

According to my understanding, niche edite should be to insert a link to your own website to an existing post, which is to carry some traffic, so as to be able to pass the weight while your page to bring traffic.

The problems encountered so far are.
1. I posted on the forum looking for niche edite opportunities, most people gave me a link to the post, the entire site is with traffic (80-90% of these sites rely on only one or two keywords (low KD high volume) to maintain traffic), but the post given on semrush shows no keyword ranking (or few keywords and ranking backward),. This is generally not much traffic. I ask that this lost the meaning of niche edite, because it does not bring traffic, the only thing that brings weight to pass, I do not know if I have understood right, please correct me if not.

Niche edit is the similar option to guest post, but it saves money for content writing.
But, if you find really good article for link insert - it's a gem.
For me it must be: 100% niche relevant article, having some backlinks on it, having some keywords/traffic on it.

Niche edit link building is a tactic in which a contextual link is added into an existing blog post or page on a website. Manual niche edits are done by reaching out to sites directly and asking or bartering to get your link added to a relevant post

Semrush and Ahrefs shows different value if you search with the Root domain for a site it varies and the same domain with al Sub domains it varies

So better go with the sub-domains option while you analyze if you get a niche edit link then you can get a clear idea

The prices for Niche edits will be the same as the cost for getting a new guest posts in the blog so depends on the metric and Traffic stats the blog price differs
