A set and forget business is one in which you can essentially set up the systems and processes and then let it run on its own with little to no input from you. This type of business is often seen as a passive income stream since you don't have to actively work in it on a daily basis. In easy language, a set and forget business is simply a business which you can completely outsource and still make some good profit!
There are a few different ways you need to follow in order to build one. The first is through hiring someone to manage the day-to-day operations of the business. This could be a virtual assistant, an employee, or even an automated system.
The second way is to have a system in place that can essentially run on its own with little to no input from you. This could be an online course that is delivered automatically or a drop shipping business that fulfills orders without you having to do anything.
The third way is to have a business that requires very little maintenance from you. This could be a blog that you set up and then only have to write new articles for occasionally or a social media account that you only need to post to once in a while.
But the main problem is that people start searching for businesses that one can set and forget, then comes an old familiar list of biz. In order to make a good revenue doing nothing, we need new biz'ses. See, Set and Forget is all about automation. Automation can be implemented anywhere with a little effort. But the main thing is that we have to start thinking like that. Whenever you go outside, you see all bunch of different kinds of shops and businesses. Start questioning yourself, "Can it be automated? How can it be automated? Can it be automated by machines? Or we need employees? After cutting the cost of outsourcing, will it earn me a descent amount?" If it fails on one business put this template on an another business. Eventually, you will start to think like that and you will be flooded from ideas.
