What you think about staking

Well, no risk no reward.

Besides, no one ever lost money in crypto unless they sold, or unless they were unlucky and got caught up in a coin that went to $0 (think Luna). And even the Luna guys, they still have their Luna, and they have their Luna v2, and maybe they make their money back some day.

No one, ever.
yeah, sadly you're right about that.

That's not sadly bro, that's great news.

If it wasn't for that, I'd be much less in crypto than I actually am. I hate losing my hard earned money. And if coins were dropping to $0 left and right, I'd get out.

But from my experience, you buy only the popular cryptos, or the ones that have so much hype behind them that it will always pay somebody to keep them going, and you're pretty much safe from losing the money you've invested in them.

And when they all start going up, they usually ALL go up, and you have a good chance of making some insane gains on what you're hodling.

And as you hodl, since you're hodling the most popular cryptos, put those fuckers to stake and earn interest in SAFE ways. The SAFE ways being, 1% and 3% and 5% and 10% APY, not the 155%.

Then sit tight, and you should be all right, eventually :)

ofc it is, nobody likes to lose cash

I totally agree with u about that, except the staking part.
It seems that you need an exchange to do that and come on, we see a lot of bad news regarding tax and exchanges.

No, you don't need an exchange. There are many cryptos that you can stake on private wallets.

Cardano, Cosmos, Cronos, Stacks, Solana, AVAX, Polygon, Tezos, Ethereum, Curve, Tron, Bloktopia - all these and more can be staked on private wallets, no exchange necessary.

And which cryptos do you think I own the most of? Come on, guess :D

Wondering if with the ethereum merge we can stake directly from wallet like ledger or metamask now

I wonder what's gonna happen with Lido.fi and the ETH staked on there.

Supposedly, until the merge happens, you get an equal amount of stETH to the ETH you staked, and you can sell the stETH if you want. But you can't get ETH out.

But after the merge happens, you should be able to get your ETH unstaked, and get it back. Maybe a few moths after the merge, but that's what's supposed to happen I think.

I wonder how that's gonna work out...

so
i want to start invest my money in something and i think to stake some crypto in binance
do you thing is good idea? or dont worth?is risky?

sorry my english, not my main language
I just throw any busd i have there in the flex stake
not huge returns but its better than it just sitting there.

search "binance cant withdraw reddit"; you will see plenty of people with balance stuck in binance
the same with PayPal, Stripe, Payoneer, etc.

Hundreds of millions of people use Binance. It's okay for some dozens of people to have issues or "claim" to have issues.

well, people that leave their funds in there, either:
1. dont care
2. they have small balances
3. or are too rich to care for what they have in there :D

Yes, staking is a great idea. I am dubious about Binance, but they make the staking process extremely easy. If you are looking to maximize your profit on some cryptocurrencies, it's worth having a look at other options (such as Stakewise for Ethereum).

Instead of staking in centralised exchange like binance, go for decentralised exchanges like pancakeswap,etc..They offer high returns. Ofcourse crypto is a highly volatile market, so u have to stake coins which u will believe in long term. Example, pancakeswap itself offers a single sided staking called syrup pool. U can have a look at their website too..

I am now in a 60% loss so I stake all the coins I have. I think it is worth it. I approxmetly 1$ per day. It is better than nothing because I am not willing to say in a loss and in zero either.
